Link CCTV Systems are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!
On 11th September 2022, 9 members of Link CCTV Systems’ team will be taking on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24 mile (38.6km) walk and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. The challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The Link CCTV Systems’ team will face this challenge on Sunday 11th September to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, a charity which is very close to their hearts (pardon the pun). The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It’s only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
Please click this link if you’d like to donate, we’d be so grateful for your support. Thank you!
Good luck to the Link CCTV Systems’ team taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!
