Link CCTV complete installation at Fortnum & Mason

The team at Link CCTV Systems are immensely proud to announce the completion of another successful Avigilon installation at one of the most prestigious department stores in the world, Fortnum & Mason.
The installation, which only took an impressive 11 weeks, encompassed a full overhaul of their current CCTV system, including a new fibre optic network and end to end structured cabling. The Link team deployed a new structured data network consisting of over 250 data outlets and a fibre optic backbone, utilising HellermannTyton cabling and termination products that we tested throughout, providing Fortnum & Mason with a network that is truly reliable and warrantied for 25 years.
Ryan Mitchinson, Managing Director at Link CCTV Systems, described the install and his personal relationship with the client, “Having worked with the team at Fortnum & Mason for over 13 years and having personally maintained the security systems on site as an Engineer, I was excited to be given the opportunity to design their new system in 2020. Following various demonstrations and site visits with the management team, Fortnum & Mason concluded that the Avigilon platform was best suited to their requirements. 11 short weeks later the new platform was operational and the team on site were exceptionally happy with the outcome; a reduction in interrogation times, increased video quality, cutting edge analytics and above all, a new unified system installed with the highest level of workmanship and quality. This installation further establishes the strong relationship between Link CCTV Systems and Fortnum & Mason. We originally designed and upgraded their CCTV Systems back in 2011, whilst installing multiple CCTV and security systems since. Our latest upgrade, which was completed in early December, is one which we are exceptionally proud of and adds to our ever-expanding portfolio of first class jobs completed to the highest standard.
