Project Description: Southside Wandsworth is a shopping centre in the district of Wandsworth in London. When built in 1971, it was the largest indoor shopping centre in Europe and is currently the fifth largest indoor shopping centre in London.
In August 2020, Link CCTV Systems completed a full system upgrade at Southside, consisting of a full Avigilon overhaul of their analogue system and refurbishment of their control room. The installation took only 6 weeks with zero system downtime. A true turnkey solution for the control room with Link CCTV Systems adopting all disciplines from CCTV, Access Control, PA and Intercoms through to the painting, partitions and carpets.
Following the upgrade operators are benefitting from a bespoke control room designed for their needs, and a new security system which simplifies and speeds up their crucial investigations.
